Emelia Lee Bave, 97, died peacefully at home at her beloved Mar Vista Resort on San Juan Island Monday, March 10, 2008.

All of us with The Whale Museum will always be grateful to Lee and remember her fondly. Due in large part to Lee's generosity, the museum has a wonderful facility in which to further its mission, tell the whales' stories, and share exhibits with the public. Thanks, Lee! You will be missed.
